Online Genetic Databases Informing Human Genome Epidemiology

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of human genome epidemiology data rely on the availability of both published and unpublished information. This resource summarises databases on the world wide web that contain genetic epidemiological information. We identified 13 (Table 1) that contained information on gene-disease associations in more than one gene, 111 databases (Table 2) containing data on the prevalence of genetic variation and 67 databases (Table 3) containing information specific to a single gene only.

Information on these or any other internet-based resources of gene-disease association data should be emailed to databases@hugenet.org.uk.
