Background:
Before starting at the UK HuGENet coordinating centre (formerly part of the Cambridge Genetics Knowledge Park) in August 2005, Angela spent a number of years at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, in Oxford where she completed her DPhil and a Wellcome Trust Training Fellowship in Mathematical Biology.

Current Research Interests:
Angela is currently working on a number of projects in the field of genetic epidemiology and clinical trials. She has recently completed a project to look at the feasibility of using text-mining to enhance current techniques for the identification of and extraction of information from articles used in systematic reviews of gene-disease associations.
